To All the Boys I've Loved Before is a young adult fiction about a girl named Lara Jean who writes a letter to all of the boys she has loved, there are five in total, but one day the letters get sent and her world gets turned upside down.
This book was the fastest book I have read, I think I read it in a total of 10 hours (which for me is pretty fast considering it usually takes me about a week). I really loved it, I think it was really cute and the whole thing was a really pleasant easy read. I saw the movie first, which I hate doing, I always want to read the book first because I feel like that way you go into the story without knowing what's going to happen next. At first, I wasn't going to read the book because I saw the movie but I finally thought I would give it a try and I loved it.
In short, the movie basically took about three events from the book and made it a movie. For the record, I did love the movie. Another problem I have with seeing the movie first is that know I can only imagine the characters looking like the actor.
In terms of characters, I thought the actor who played Lara Jean was really accurate in terms of looks. I feel like if I read the book first then that's how I would Imagine her. Peter was also well done, he wasn't done as well but I still really like him.
Off course the book was so much better then the movie and everything about the book made me fall in love. This post is really short but I think overall I loved both the movie and the book.
